The Richey-Barrett Co., an independent insurance agency, has been providing professional service, advice and programs to a continuously-expanding client base for more than a century.

We have achieved this growth and expansion by providing generations of clients with the insurance programs and packages they require to meet their individual needs. Since 1902, our success has been based on action, not reaction.

As we move into our second century of service to the community, we will continue to follow the basic philosophy the founders of this company established in 1902.

Our Mission:

Although Mr. Richey and Mr. Barrett did not envision today’s business environment, we are certain they would approve of how we see our mission.

We sell and service, and advise and consult, on a variety of insurance products, ranging from property/casualty to life and health, to consulting and self-insured services.

We are partners with our clients and insurance companies, providing the products, services and solutions necessary to meet all the needs of our clients.

We have dedicated employees who continually work to meet that goal, while at the same time increasing the value of our company.

We have serviced the community faithfully since 1902, and will continue to do so well into the future.
