Profile

John Bouhall is a third generation independent insurance agent. He entered the insurance business in 1983 following a job in marine supply that transformed into industrial tank clean-up. Exposure to unknown or undisclosed toxins naturally drew him to basic risk assessment. A few years into his new job as an independent insurance agent, John decided to pursue his CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) professional insurance designation, which he earned in 1993. He served as the Cleveland CPCU Chapter President in 1998-1999 and is the liaison representative for Kent State University’s Cleveland Chapter CPCU Endowment Scholarship Fund. Interested in completing his college education, John attended night classes at Baldwin Wallace University (BWU) in Berea, OH. He graduated in 2007 from BWU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.

John enjoys learning outside the classroom through travel and hiking. He is married to Melanie, and together they have one grown son, named John.
